The “Certified First Aid Training” series, organized by our university to promote emergency awareness and develop life-saving skills, has completed its April session.
As part of the collaboration with the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate, the April session of the training—which has been held regularly every month since December 2025—was successfully conducted on April 7–8. During the training, participants gained both theoretical and practical knowledge across a wide range of topics, from choking and bleeding to basic life support and the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices.
At interactive stations designed around real-life scenarios, our staff reinforced their skills under the supervision of expert instructors and completed the post-training examination process. Participants who passed the exams earned the Ministry of Health-approved “First Aider” certificate and ID card, becoming qualified first aiders capable of providing professional intervention both on our campus and in their daily lives.
