The “Certified First Aid Training” series, organized by our Department to elevate campus security to the highest level and create a work environment prepared for emergencies, has been completed.
The final session of the training series, which has been held regularly every month since December 2025 in collaboration with the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate, was successfully conducted as part of the May program. Our staff members, who gained a wide range of theoretical and practical skills—from basic life support to the use of AED devices—during the training, also successfully passed the examination process.
At the conclusion of the process, our staff members who earned the right to receive the Ministry of Health-approved “First Aider” certificate and ID card have become competent first aiders capable of professional intervention both on our campus and in their social lives. With the addition of our staff members who earned the certificate, the number of certified first aiders within our university has significantly increased.
