Dear Candidate; You are applying to us to join the Ibn Haldun University (“University”) Family. We process some of your personal data in order to evaluate your application and direct it to the appropriate position. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS UNDER LAW NUMBERED 6698?
Candidates who have shared their CV with our University can apply in person by sending a notice to our University through a notary or by presenting their ID to our University center;
- Learning whether personal data is processed or not,
- Requesting information if personal data has been processed,
- Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose,
- Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred at home or abroad,
- Requesting correction of personal data in case personal data has been processed incompletely or incorrectly and requesting that the action taken in this context be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data in case the reasons requiring processing no longer exist, even though it has been processed in accordance with the law and other relevant legal provisions, and requesting that the action taken in this context be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- Objecting to the emergence of a result that is unfavorable to the individual by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,
- In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, they have the right to request compensation for the damage.
Our communication application channels and the method by which the above-mentioned rights will be exercised are detailed in the application form to the data controller on our website. Applications submitted to us are responded to within 30 (thirty) days at the latest from the date the request reaches our University, depending on the nature of the request. If the evaluation and decision-making process requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be taken as basis.
