The Support AFAD Volunteer training program, conducted in collaboration with AFAD to cultivate more aware, prepared, and equipped individuals among our university members in the face of disasters, commenced with the “First Aid Training” held on Monday, December 1, 2025.
During the training, a specialist instructor taught participants the basic first aid procedures required in disasters and emergencies. Techniques for transporting patients in emergencies and dealing with life-threatening situations such as bleeding, fractures, burns, loss of consciousness, and respiratory arrest were covered through practical exercises based on real-life scenarios.
Participants gained the essential knowledge and skills needed to respond correctly and promptly when faced with such emergency situations.
