Part-Time Student Recruitment for the Directorate of Corporate Communication and Promotion

Our university’s Directorate of Corporate Communication and Promotion is recruiting part-time students to work in the fields of Corporate Communication, Events, Promotion, and Production, with the qualifications listed below.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 (Students in preparatory classes and first-year students without a GPA cannot apply) ,
  • No disciplinary record,
  • Proficient in MS Office programs and digital tools,
  • Strong communication, planning, and coordination skills,
  • Solution-oriented work approach,
  • Able to adapt to flexible working hours (including weekends, after-hours, etc.),
  • Team player,
  • Ready to support all processes carried out within the Directorate when needed.

FIELD-SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be an undergraduate student (for Promotion and Events fields),
  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student (for Production and Digital Media fields),
  • Must be a third or fourth-year undergraduate or graduate student (for Corporate Communication field),
  • Strong communication skills, able to express themselves well, team-oriented, responsible, willing to give presentations and interact with large groups, outgoing, and highly representational (for Promotion field),
  • Follows social sciences as well as literature, culture, and arts; has a certain intellectual background in these areas and preferably has developed original projects or contributed to existing projects in these fields (for Corporate Communication field),
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, with strong proofreading skills (for Corporate Communication field),
  • High sensitivity to Turkish language; proficient in grammar and spelling rules (for Corporate Communication field),
  • Preferably experienced in social media management; familiar with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, NSocial (for Production and Digital Media field),
  • Preferably skilled in Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Canva programs (for Production and Digital Media field),
  • Talented in content creation with a creative and innovative perspective (for Production and Digital Media field),
  • Preferably experienced in photography, video shooting, and editing (for Production and Digital Media field),
  • Able to work collaboratively with the team on content production and publication (for Production and Digital Media field),
  • Values aesthetic details, creative, and open to innovation (for Production and Digital Media field),
  • Interested in gaining experience in digital media and media tools (for Production and Digital Media field),

CORPORATE COMMUNICATION FIELD JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Generating original ideas and contributions for social sciences-focused projects carried out within the unit,
  • Supporting the preparation of all necessary content for these projects,
  • Assisting in writing, English translation, and proofreading of all communication activities conducted by the unit,
  • Supporting the writing and/or proofreading of news texts,
  • Supporting the writing and/or proofreading of social media posts.

PRODUCTION AND DIGITAL MEDIA FIELD JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Photography and videography,
  • Editing and post-production,
  • Participating in studio processes,
  • Handling technical tasks related to the field,
  • Assisting in production processes for events held in halls.

PROMOTION FIELD JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Supporting preparation and organization processes of promotional events,
  • Preparing and presenting university and department promotional seminars,
  • Managing social media, phone, and email communications,
  • Effectively conveying the university’s educational, social, cultural, and sports opportunities to prospective students,
  • Representing the university using a communication style consistent with the institutional identity during promotional activities,
  • Welcoming and guiding visiting high schools,
  • Providing campus tours for visiting groups,
  • Preparing and distributing promotional packages,
  • Participating in promotional stands during high school Career Days on behalf of the university.

EVENTS FIELD JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Monitoring all organizational support processes for events,
  • Preparing necessary promotional materials for programs.
