The Support AFAD Volunteer training program, organized in collaboration with AFAD to increase the knowledge and skills of our university members regarding disasters and to raise more prepared individuals in disaster situations, continued with the “Communication Training” session held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
During the training, topics such as the importance of teamwork during disasters, disaster ethics, and disaster psychology were discussed by expert instructors. Participants were provided with information on establishing healthy communication during crises, the vital role of teamwork and solidarity within a team, ethical principles in approaching disaster victims, and methods for coping with psychological effects.
